Hey!
  I'm Melpo. I'm 12 years old and I'm keen on singing and dancing. I started dancing when I was 5 and I still dance.  I only dance hip hop and not traditional dancings or ballet. It's not because I hate them, but because they don't fit me. About singing now, I have been singing 10 years. I thing I'm beter at singing han dancing. But I like them both. There's only one reason that I love dancing and singing. It's that when I'm dancing or sining I'm being myself.
  On my free time I cycle with my friends or I  play with my cats. I love cats that's why I have 12 of them in my garden. My most favourite are Houdini and Snow White. I really enjoy writing on my computer and reading my book, too.

Could you tell something about your family?

My family includes me,my brother and my parents.
My brother lives in Athens because, he studies at university,but me and my parents live in Heraklion.

Could you describe your neighbourhood to me?

In my neighbourhood there are a lots of flats.
There is a problem with the parking and
we can find cars parked on the pavements.
But,there is also a lot of trees and flowers 
and all the neighbours are kind and hospitable.

What do you like about your local area?

What I like most in my local area are the
parks,because I can go cycling with my friends and
we sometimes play football.

Is there you would change about your neighbourhood?

No,I wouldn't change anything apart from creating places
or parking because,there is a problem in my neighbourhood.

How often do you go to the city?

I am not going a lot of times to the city
because,I have a lot of homework and I have
to study.The most  that I go to the city is at the weekends and
especially with my friends.

What do you like doing in your freetime?

In my freetime I like doing a lot of thins.
Par example I like going cycling,playing football
or basketball with my friends,watching the newest films online and finally listening to music
from my mobile phone!!!

In my family there are three members, my parents and me. I'm an only child, but I always long for a sibling. My father's name is Chronis and my mother's name is Stella.They are teachers in primary school.My father is a Head Master

Could you  describe your neighbourhood?

I live in a crowded neighbourhood.There are lots of houses and shops. There are traffic on the streets and the air is polluted because of the fumes.Near my house there are three schools abd one park,where sometimes I go with my friends.Also there is a theatre nearby.Although my neighbourhood is very polluted, there are many places to chill out with friends and have fun!

What do you like about your local area?
My local area is nice.There are lots of trendy shops,restaurants and schools nearby. It only takes me five minutes to walk to shops.But my school is far away.However lots of my friends live nearby, so I can meet them easily.There are lots of parks, where children can relax and have a good time.

Is there anything you would change about youw neighbourhood?

 I like my neighbourhood, but it would be good if there was less pollution.Also I would like it if there was a cinema or a bowling alley nearby.I thimk that planting some trees would be a good idea too.


How often do you go to the city? 

I love going to the city and spending time with my friends at shops and at the restaurants. But I can't do it every day,bacause I have school and other lessons in the afternoon.I usually go to the city centre once a week.

What do you like doing in your free time? 

In my freetime I love dancing and listening to music.Also I spend time with my friends.Sometimes we go to the city centre an sometimes we stay at home to relax!

In my free time I love dancing.Dance is my favourite hobby, because I can  express myself and of course I can relax.A ballerina needs suitable shoes and clothes. A hip-hop dancer needs practical clothes. Also I need a CD player or a computer, because if  I listen to music,I will have more ideas for making choreographies.I wish I could dance forever!

How do you spend your free time?
Do you need any special equipment to do your hbby/hobbies?

I like spending my free time playing the piano and basketball. Piano is amazing, you can learn so many things playing it.Basketball is very interesting and good to keep my body fit. I don't need any special equipment to play piano but I need my trainers and my tracksuit to play basketball.

Hi my name is Paul! I am thirteen years old and I am a secondary-school student. I really liked your videos about yourselves and your preferences, too. Now, I am going to intoduce myself to you! I live in Heraklion, which is the biggest city in Crete. As for my preferences, I love playing basketball and I am also keen on hanging out with my friends!

     

My favourite school subjects are French and English. Also, my favourite film is "Life is beautiful" with Roberto Benigni. I liked it, since it describes the negative side of war. However, it is optimistic and it teaches us to look on the bright side of the life! 

Moreover, I prefer comics to books, becouse I find them more exciting and I like the pictures. Did you know that comics help us learn a foreign language better??? This is why I enjoy reading Asterix and Lucky Luke. Do you enjoy reading comics?
