Ways to protect our planet

There are many problems in our planet, but people are trying to find solutions.

In the first place, I would like to use our environment with care. For example, we can recycle more glass, more plastic, and other things like metal, clothes, shoes and plastic bags. Also, we can make something new from our old clothes like taking an old t-shirt and doing it a scarf. It would be an excellent idea. 

Secondly, it would be very useful to have new methods of transport like making electric cars, electric ships, electric planes and electric motorbikes. It would be really good for the environment becaus e there would not be so much air pollution. Also, l would prefer scientists to make jetpacks because it would be faster than other 
methods of public transport, so we would be at school in five seconds!

Finally, I would like scientists to invent something new that would help our lives to be easier than these days. If scientists did this in the future, we would be very happy and we would have better lives.                                                   

Global Earth Day

Today all people are happy because they celebrate mother earth.This celebration is global because more than one hundred and seventy five countries participate in it .

In my opinion , the things that we must do to protect the earth are:

1) our rational use of natural resources
2) to save energy
3) to reduce our traffic with cars
4) to move only with bicycles

Moreover , if you want to protect your earth , you must throw your rubbish in the bin . Finally , you must celebrate this day because earth is our mother and we have the advantage to protect it.

Today is the Earth Day! On this day 22 April, many celebrations are organised worldwide. Earth Day was first celebrated in 1970. This day is celebrated in more than 193 countries all over the world!! However, we have to take care of the environment every day in our life and not only this day! Unless we take care of the environment, the next generation will not have a safe place to live. To succeed we can use our car less or use our bike or to go somewhere on foot to move a bit more. Another solution is RECYCLING! Do not throw your rubbish outside the bin and try to recycle. With recycling, we have a chance to save our planet and probably the next generations!!

So, take care of your planet with all the methods you possibly can. We have a chance to save our planet, so do not waste it! GO GREEN!!

In my opinion we have to stop using car and motors without any reason and using buses, trains, bikes. Bikes are the best solution because they are very cheap and do not need fuel and taxes. Another solution is recycling! You can throw all rubbish in recycling bins.

Most pollution comes from humans. For example, think about this: where did all the mechanical tools come from and where did all the machines come from? Humans created them and sure they make our lives easier but they don't make it healthier. By using cars to transport everywhere we pollute the air with gasoline. Another way we pollute is garbage. Everyday we throw away tons of garbage, which then needs to be collected by huge trucks, which pollutes even more. Instead we could be recycling to reuse, which slows down the factories that make wrappers and tins and stuff we throw away.

Other ways we pollute is by throwing things into drains, which lead to rivers, lakes, or oceans, and sometimes end up, on our beaches. Also when we throw things into drains and they end in the ocean sometimes sea animals mistake it for food and then die because of illness.

 

When farmers put pesticides on their crops it pollutes a lot. Then we are eating pesticides and can become sick from them. Also animals give away lots of pollution when they produce gas from their bodies. Gas pollution is the worst because so many people drive everywhere when they could be riding their bikes or walking. Smoking is also a strong pollutant. Besides polluting the earth smoking doesn’t help your health or anybody else’s either.

War is one of the biggest pollutants in the world. Because of all the guns and machines that kill things they also are slowly killing the planet as well. For example do you go anywhere (besides a walk) on foot? Do you bike to school or work? Do you know anybody else that does? Not very many people really think about pollution because they are educated about it.

Many people think that if one person does something good to help the earth all the pollution will just disappear. But what they don’t know is that if everybody doesn’t start cutting down on how much pollution they create the whole earth will eventually be disgusting and everybody will die because neither humans nor animals can live in such a habitat.

 

I think everybody should make an effort to stop using a vehicle as much as they do. I think everybody should be walking or biking to places that aren’t that far. And not only will it help the earth stay healthy but it will also keep you healthy too!

Ask yourself this question and answer truthfully, “What do you do to pollute everyday”? Once you’ve figured it out try to find a way to cut down on using that thing. Everyday almost everybody pollutes in some way so don’t be ashamed of it, just make an effort to stop it.

 

IF I HAD 1 MILLION EUROS...

If I had 1 million euros to spend I would build a park for endangered species.I would help the environment,too.If you want to save the environment,reuse paper and glass.DON'T POLLUTE IT!!

What ecological project i would support if i had 1 million euros

If i had 1 million euros i would help endangered species like koalas,lions
and elephants because they are very good and beautiful animals.I would
give them food and a safe place to live.Also i would start a campaign about
helping the environment.Lot's of people would be in that campaign and they
would remove litter from the beaches or towns or even forests were animals
live and survive.

If I had 1 million euros ...

If I had 1 million euros to spend , I would build ecological-smart houses to help the environment.These houses would save energy and water! For example they would switch off the lights , when I am not in the room.Also they would have  green roofs and big gardens with plants , organic fruits and vegetables! IF YOU ARE AN ECO-MILLIONER HELP THE ENVIRONMENT WITH ECOLOGICAL BUILDINGS! IF YOU ARE AN  ECO-TEEN HELP THE ENVIRONMENT TOO!!!

If you had one million euros, what would you do?

If I had one millino euros, I would make green parks where teens and generally people could plant lots of trees and flowers. With this we protect the environment and save the world. With tis money we could make a new green universe!!!

If I had €1.000.000 what would I do ?

If I had €1.000.000 I would buy a villa not big at all with a pool and a big garden.I would buy a  fast car like a PORSCHE, too. Finally If there was some more money,I would do business with it!!!!!!!!!!

Helping the environment

IF YOU HAD 1 MILLION EUROS TO SPEND , WHAT ECOLOGICAL PROJECT WOULD YOU SUPPORT?WHY AND HOW?


      If I had 1 million euros to spend ON AN ecological project, I would help animals. I am interested in protecting animals from extinction. There are some ways of looking after endangered species. I wound spend the money  on organizations about endangered animals.

If I had 1 million....

If I had one million euros to spend,I would help children who go through a difficult moment in their life, like children in Africa who don't have to eat or drink water. Secondly, if I had one million euros to spend, I would like to spend a part of it to protect some endangered animals and to help all the people take care of the environment. So many times I have seen rubbish on the roads. It's so awful and I would like to change. So, I would give a speech about that! Lastly, if I have enough money, I would spend it for my family and myself.

My opinion about the site called BirdLife International.

     I found the link for this site on my book.I like this site because the people that they made it worked a lot of there.When you visit a site you want it to make you read it. Well, this site made me read some of its articles and I learned many new things.When you open this site the first thing that you will see is the main page which is very colourful and nice,the second thing that I noticed is the fact that it has a ''search'' bar where you can type what you want to see from this site and it appears to you in a few seconds.
     Now let's talk about the things I learned.I read many weird names of rare birds like Brazilian Merganser;a black bird with a long mouth.This bird is like a chicken.Another rare bird is the Christmas Island Frigatebird; I read about this bird because I like Christmas.Well this long bird which is grey and black lives in Australia!In addition to this, I read about an owl called Forest Owlet.This bird was discovered in 1997!I was rooted to the spot when I saw it.It is a funny,brown owl which likes playing games.
     I won't tell you more.I suggest you visit this site,it is amazing.
   

The Ozone Hole

The problem: 

The ozone hole is one of the biggest problems in the world and if we don't protect the environment the hole will become bigger and bigger and the temperature of our planet will increase!

The cause:

In my opinion, the cause of the Ozone Hole is the CFCs because they contain a chemical which called chlorine and this chemical can destroy the ozone!The CFCs are contained in the air conditioners,the spray cans the fridges and generally other things which can pollute the environment.

The solution:

I argue that people today are irresponsible and they don't care about the environment..Maybe they don't know how important it is to be clean..Environment is important for all of us and we must protect it from some people who don't respect it! This is the solution: we must stop using products with CFCs in them.If we do that, everybody will be rewarded because we'll live in a safe and clean place!

Recycling

Recycling: The most important thing

After we had finished the project on the environment at school, I knew I had to start recycling. Before the project I didn’t use to do anything about the environment like recycling. So, I threw all the rubbish in the bin and I didn’t mind at all.

While I was doing the project I found some information about recycling on the internet. And while I was reading the information I understood that the planet needs our help. I read some information that I had never heard about. Furthermore, it was a big surprise to me.

So, I made a decision: to start recycling. First I took some different bags for the different rubbish. So, when I went to throw the rubbish I threw it in the suitable bag. And then I took it to the suitable bin. And that was it. It wasn’t difficult. In addition, it was the easiest and most important thing that I have ever done.

Recycling is very important because when we recycle we help the planet to become better and also we keep the Earth clean. We must tell everyone to recycle so we can save the planet and ourselves.

 

Ηow I started recycling

     After we'd finished the project on the environment at school,I knew I had to start recycling . During the project I found out how important it is to recycle and what types of materials I can recycle.Before the project,I threw away plastic,bottles,papers,glass,aluminium but now I know that all these materials can be recycled.

        I decided to recycle, because the environment is being polluted by lots of things but now many of those things can be recycled and used again.So, the environment will be protected.

       In my opinion,recycling is a little difficult,because you have to put lots of things in bins.Morover,there aren't many recycling bins in the streets.

      Now, most of people recycle and the cities are cleaner.Also, the environment will be saved from pollution.

     In conclusion, I feel very proud,because I learnt how to recycle and not to drop litter everywhere !
