Future Giant Mobile Phones...

Mobile phones are and will always be a very useful gadget for many things. How much do you use your mobile phone?

In my opinion , mobiles are good and very useful because you can do many things with them like listen to music , download and watch films , text or phone in an emergency or you can use them as an alarm clock! However ,  they can become a bad habit if you use them too much.

I have read and heard that future mobiles will be much bigger than now. Also trousers and jeans fashion designers have already started designing trousers with bigger pockets!Future mobiles will be for sure smarter than now, because they will be able to do much more things.

In my opinion , mobiles connect us with other people and help us with many things in our daily life. What do you think and what is your opinion abour mobile phones?

Mobile Phones: A door to the future

Do you know why mobile phones are useful? They are useful because you can do everything with them, but if you use them too much, they may be dangerous.
I use the mobile phone in order to keep in touch with my friends and take photosand videos. I also listen to music, download films, play games, surf the internet and use it as an alarm clock.
In the future, I think that mobile phones will have more functions and that they will be a very important part of our lives. They will probably be bendy and they will be able to change their shape.
Mobile phones connect us with another world, the world of technology.

The Biggest Invention!

What do we do when we have forgotten the mobile phone at home? PANIC!! The mobiles are a part of our life. Some people can't live without them.
Mobiles have advantages and disadvantages.Everyone knows the advantages. How about the disadvantages? The excessive use of mobile phones can cause problems to our health but also to our friends.
Personally, I use my mobile phone in order to download and listen to music.I also use it to find information from websites. Finally, I use it to keep in touch with my friends through the social media. We can use mobile phones in order to play games, check our emails, e.t.c.
The mobiles are a look at the future. In the future, I think mobiles will be smaller or bigger. No one knows!! Maybe they can fly and follow us instead of us carrying them. Perhaps in the future we won't need laptops or tablets. Mobiles are a new world!!!

A TOURIST DESTINATION

        Gergeri

Gergeri is a large village approximately 40 kilometres away from Heraklion. It is near Zaros, Santa Barbara, Nybritos and Panassos. Nearby is the tallest mountain of Crete called Psiloritis. Psiloritis is 39 kilometres away from Gergeri.
If you want to come to Gergeri you should book tickets to Heraklion and then you can come to Gergeri by car, bus or bike. If you are already in Heraklion you mustn't book tickets. As for your accommodation, in the village there are three small hotels fully-equipped. In the village there are supermarkets, kiosks and traditional cafes.
In Gergeri there are many places to visit like the Natural History Museum, the Folklore Museum, churches, the statues of Erotokritos and Aretousa and others. In the Folklore Museum there are local and traditional dresses, rural tools, old objects etc. Also there are fountains and a Bottle Factory called Rouvas. From sources of Gergeri stems in water RouvasGergeri is a traditional village, peaceful, beautiful and picturesque. In the summer the weather is very hot and the water very cold. In winter it rains and snows. The temperature in winter is between 9-0 so the water is colder than in the summer! If you want a nice, peaceful place to stay or visit with your family or alone, this is that place! It will be the experience of your lifetime!

Zagorochoria

Zagorochoria is a group of villages which are very close to one another. One of the villages is Monodendri which is on the mountain like all the other villages. All the villages are very traditional and all the resorts ,the hotels and the houses there are made of stone.Zagorochoria is near to Ioannina so if you want to escape for a little for the village you can go there and visit modern cafes, pizzerias and restaurants.
If you want to go there ,you must book the hotel room for one month earlier because Zagorochoria,
especially in the winter, have a lot of tourists. There you can go by plane. You must take the flight from Heraklion to Ioannina and then you can go to Zagorochoria by bus or by taxi. But if you love adventure, you can take the ship from Heraklion to Athens and then you must go there by car.
A negative thing about Zagorochoria is that they haven't got many attractions and sights. But you can go to Ioannina which is near to Zagorochoria and visit Vrelis museums and the lake which is near to Ioannina. In this lake you can take the boat and you can visit a little island which is opposite Ioannina. Also, you couldn't miss the very beautiful cave of Perama.
In my opinion, this place is one of the best winter destinations.I'm sure that if you visit this place you will want to visit the rent of the villages again in the winter.

Patsideros in winter is almost amazing, but there is a small problem: the weather is too bad, as it always snows or rains. The solution to this problem is to stay in a house and look at the view of the snowy trees, streets and mountains . Also, there are traditional cafés where you can drink hot chocolate or anything you want and relax.
If you visit my lovely village Patsideros I'm sure you will never regret it ! I think it will be a great experience for you all to learn about life in the countryside and stay in a clean and cozy atmosphere .

Recycling

After we'd finished the project on the environment at school, I knew I had to start RECYCLING. To begin with in this lesson I learned that plastic isn't a natural thing and needs million years to be destroyed. Also, some plastics give off dangerous gases whenyou burn them. For this reason, wehave to RECYCLE this materials. Moreover, learned that paper is made of wood and people cut down many trees which results in big destructions, for instance floods, less oxygen and of course the destruction of the rainforests. Before the project, I used to throw away all the rubbish in a green bin without RECYCLING anything, whereas now I care where I throw it away.

I have decided to RECYCLE paper, plastic bags and glass in a different bin. Also, I REUSE plastic bags and usually I use recycling bags. Then, I use paper very carefully. Moreover, I suggest to my friends and of course to my family to support this effort.

RECYCLING I think, is a bit difficult because it needs careful work and very big organisation, but I achieved my purpose and I feel very proud of what, we'd achieved and very glad I'd been able to help. Also, this success made me more enthusiastic and absolutely excited.

an article

Dear Editor,

I recently read an article in your newspaper about pop music. The writer critized the singers and I would like you to
permit me to disagree with her.

To begin with, I believe that this music is very interesting for teenagers. They find a really ecxiting thing to do. In addition, the lyrics make the mind of teenagers more active because they sometimes learn some of he songs.

Moreover, I thing that some bands play excellent musical instrumets. Then, I believe that the gap between live music and the music created on a computer is not too big if we think that technology evolves. Also, many famous pop singers have offered money to many poor people and some of them have funded public buildings. Finally, I think that lots of pop musicians take big risks with new style and this is a fact which needs lots of effort.

In conclusion, I would like to say that our generation includes young, talented and hard - working pop musicians.

                         Yours faithfully,

      Marinos Varverakis
