Parkour and Freerunning
Parkour
Practitioners aim to get from A to B in the most efficient way possible. This is done using only the human body and the surroundings for propulsion, with a focus on maintaining as much momentum as possible while still remaining safe. Parkour can include obstacle courses, running, climbing, swinging, mantling, vaulting, jumping, rolling, quadrupedal movement, and the like, depending on what movement is deemed most suitable for the given situation.
Parkour is an activity that can be practiced alone or with others. Although it can be practiced in any location, it is usually practiced in urban spaces. Parkour involves seeing one's environment in a new way, and imagining the potentialities for navigating it by movement around, across, through, over and under its features.
Developed in France, primarily by Raymond Belle, David Belle, and Sébastien Foucan during the late 1980s, Parkour became popular in the late 1990s and 2000s through films, documentaries, and advertisements featuring these practitioners and others.

My school and what I like about it.
My school is in the centre of Heraklion. The professors there are very friendly and kind with us, except our maths professor who is a bit strict and rude.My school is big with a very big basketball, football and voleyball court for us to play.In addition to this, I like the fact that it has a lab and a gym with many lights in them.Unfortunately, my school hasn't got a library with many books so I can't find many books from there.I like that the majority of our professors are kind with us.

Formal email
I saw your advert in a magazine yesterday.I wonder if you could answer some questions.
Firstly, what date does the course begin on and how many weeks is the course?I would like to know because I'm going to travel abroad in summer. Also can we take interviews from fashion designers? Is it necessary to have an interview? Moreover, you don't refer to how much the lessons cost. Can we pay by cash or and by credit card?
Finally, you say that our future could be in your hands.Does that mean that you will help the students to find a job?
I look forward to receiving more information from you in order to call you and see the details.
Yours sincerely,
Konstantina Miminou

I saw your advert online yesterday. I wonder if you could answer some questions .
Firstly, can you tell me how I can make my own T-shirts? Can I send a picture from a magazine or can I send you a photo by MMS?
Furthermore, could you please inform me how much a T-shirt costs? You say that your prices are amazing, but do they change according to the size and material or not?
I look forward to receiving more information from you so that I can send you my design.
Yours sincerely,
Nikos Kokkinos
A review about a tavern!
The place was like an aqarium. There was a place where you could see fish behind glass.I liked the food. For starter,I offered a delicious tuna salad, for main course a fantastic crab and for dessert an apple pie with honey which I didn't like that much.
In spite of the apple pie,the service was attentive, efficient but, some of the waiters were a bit inexperienced, so they were a bit clumsy. We were lucky because none of the clumsy waiters dropped anything on us.
Finally,I recommend that tavern because the food was really tasty and the people were friendly and attentive.
